Presidente del Comité Organizador de los Campeonatos Mundiales de atletismo U18  Cali 2015 y U20 Cali 2022,Presidente de la Federación Colombiana de atletismo 2010 – 2022 y de la Liga Vallecaucana de atletismo 1987 – 1993 y 2007 – 2010.

Las Américas en Budapest 2023 ( Campeonato Mundial de atletismo )

  1. Estados Unidos con 279 puntos, Jamaica 139 puntos y Canada con 70  puntos , como NACAC fueron los líderes del WC y de APA.
  2. Los dos récords mundiales del WC Budapest : Estados Unidos en el relevo mixto 4×400 con 3’08.80 y el récord mundial juvenil U-20 de Jamaica, Roshawn Clarke, en 400 metros vallas, 47.34 segundos.
  3. La reina del Atletismo Suramericano, Yulimar Rojas de Venezuela: Medallas de Oro en 4 campeonatos Mundiales – Londres 2017, Doha 2019, Oregon 2022 y Budapest 20232w23
  4. Brasil fue el mejor suramericano con 18 puntos , el segundo fue Perú con 15 puntos y Ecuador con 12 puntos.
  5. Por NACAC, 14 países hicieron puntos: Cuba 27 puntos, Republica Dominicana 10 puntos, Santa Lucia 9 puntos, Bahamas 8 puntos , Islas Britanicas 7 puntos, Puerto Rico 7 puntos, Granada 6 puntos, Barbados 6 puntos, Guatemala 5 puntos, México 4 puntos, Dominica 4 puntos,
  6. Por CONSUDATLE, 5 países con puntos, incluido Venezuela 9 puntos y Colombia 7 puntos
  7. Norte, Centroamérica y el Caribe, NACAC, 20 medallas de oro, mientras Atletismo suramericano una medalla de oro, (Venezuela).
  8. NACAC con 581 puntos, Atletismo suramericano con 61 puntos.
  9. APA: NACAC  90% y CONSUDATLE 10% ( Resultados en puntos en WC )
  10. NACAC 31 países, 3 países tiene atletismo desarrollado ( Estados Unidos , Jamaica y Canada). El 90% de NACAC no tienen desarrollo en atletismo**
  11. CONSUDATLE 13 países, el 100% no tiene desarrollo en atletismo**.
  12. Atletismo desarrollado en campeonatos mundiales: Budapest 2023, 10 países ; Oregon 2022 , 12 paises

  1. Presidente de APA y elección en Panamericanos Santiago 2023
  2. El presidente de APA (Marcos Oviedo), pidió una licenciaa la Federación de Atletismo de Venezuela. La misma licencia no la pidió para APA. Hay pelea publica de atletas de Venezuela contra el presidente de la Federacion de Venezuela.
  3. Se retiró la candidatura del presidente de la Federación de Atletismo de Brasil para APA.
  4. Continuó la campaña del presidente de la Federación de Atletismo de Chile, Juan Luis Carter, habló con muchos países de Norte y Centroamérica y del Caribe. Ofreció su liderazgo y candidatura.
  5. De Consudatle y países de Suramerica , Centroamerica y Caribe quieren apoyar candidato de Colombia. Ningún candidato colombiano ha aceptado la nominación.
  6. Sigue el desconcierto en NACAC, directivos, algunos consideran que APA debe terminar como organización de atletismo.
  7. Algunos de Sudamérica, Centroamérica y Caribe piensan que APA es el gran proyecto de las Americas, para el 100% de suramerica y el 93% de NACAC
  8. Trabajar APA con la orientación de Estados Unidos y Jamaica, como modelos de atletismo.

 

Libro PROPUESTA PARA MEJORAR – PLAN PARA EL 70% DEL ATLETISMO GLOBAL  – Como mejorar el atletismo, en Caribe, Centro y Suramerica***.

A todos los participantes se les entregó el libro de construir un modelo en el atletismo mundial, para los países no desarrollados, que es el 100% de Sudamérica y el 93% de Norte, Centro, América y Caribe.

En este libro la gran conclusión es reforzar el atletismo escolar y universitario, como lo tienen con un gran resultado Jamaica y los Estados Unidos.

**El autor considera que el atletismo desarrollado se obtiene con mínimo 8 finalistas en un campeonato mundial y más de 40 puntos / pais.

The Americas in Budapest 2023 (World Athletics Championships)

1.The United States with 270 points, Jamaica 139 points and Canadá  with 70 points, like NACAC, were the leaders of the WC and APA.
2, The two world records of the WC Budapest: the United States in the 4×400 mixed relay with 3’08.80 and the U-20 youth world record from Jamaica, Roshawn Clarke, in the 400 meter hurdles, 47.34 seconds.
3, The queen of South American Athletics, Yulimar Rojas from Venezuela: Gold Medals in 4 World Championships – London 2017, Doha 2019, Oregon 2022 and Budapest 2023

4.Brazil was the best South American with 18 points, second was Peru with 15 points and Ecuador with 12 points.
5. By NACAC, 14 countries scored points: Cuba 27 points, Dominican Republic 10 points, Saint Lucia 9 points, Bahamas 8 points, Britis islands 7 points, Puerto Rico 7 points, Grenada 6 points, Barbados 6 points, Guatemala 5 points, Mexico 4 points, Dominica 4 points,
6. By CONSUDATLE, 5 countries with points, including Venezuela 9 points and Colombia 7 points
7. North, Central America and the Caribbean, NACAC, 20 gold medals, while South American Athletics one gold medal, (Venezuela).
8.NACAC with 581 points, South American Athletics with 61 points.

1. President of APA and election at Pan American Games Santiago 20232. The president of APA (Marcos Oviedo) requested a license from the Venezuelan Athletics Federation. He did not request the same license for APA. There is a public fight between Venezuelan athletes against the president of the Venezuelan Federation.
3. The candidacy of the president of the Brazilian Athletics Federation for APA was withdrawn.
4. The campaign of the president of the Chilean Athletics Federation, Juan Luis Carter, continued; he spoke with many countries in North and Central America and the Caribbean. He offered leadership and candidacy for him.
5. From Consudatle and countries from South America, Central America and the Caribbean want to support Colombia’s candidate.
6. There is no Colombian candidate who has accepted the nomination.
7. Confusion continues in NACAC, managers, some consider that APA should end as an athletics organization.
8. Some from South America, Central America and the Caribbean think that APA is the great project of the Americas, for 100% of South America and 93% of NACAC
9. Work APA for the future of athletics in Consudatle, Central America and the Caribbean, with the guidance of the United States and Jamaica, as models of athletics.

Book PROPOSAL TO IMPROVE – PLAN FOR 70% OF GLOBAL ATHLETICS – How to improve athletics in the Caribbean, Central and South America**.

All participants were given the book to build a model in world athletics, for undeveloped countries, which is 100% from South America and 93% from North, Central, America and the Caribbean.

In this book the great conclusion is to strengthen school and university athletics, as Jamaica and the United States have achieved with great results.
