Cumplidas las 5 primeras jornadas en 3 días de competencias en el XIX campeonato mundial de atletismo Budapest 2023, celebradas 14 finales y repartidas 30 medallas, los resultados del atletismo suramericano siguen siendo muy pobres.
En medallería el área continental está representando el 2% y en el número de finalistas el 5% del total del
campeonato.

Colombia sigue teniendo malos resultados
De los 15 atletas en competencia, ya han participado 9 y ninguno ha clasificado a una final mundialista.
El atleta colombiano Arnovis Dalmero está en Budapest según informó la Federación Colombiana de Atletismo y están esperando que resuelvan la sanción por el mal uso de las zapatillas en el Suramericano de Sao Paulo.
En el dia de mañana no hay atletas que hayan clasificado a las competencias del dia, finales del lanzamiento del disco damas, 1500 mts damas, 3000 mts obstáculos varones, 400 mts varones semifinal y 400 vallas damas semifinal.
